Job summary

Baker Roofing Company seeks a Steep Slope Foreman to repair, remove, and install steep slope roofs on commercial projects across sites. You will supervise laborers and roofers, manage safety practices, and operate a company vehicle on multiple sites daily.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on steep slope roofing experience, valid CMV eligibility, and a strong focus on safety and quality. Competitive benefits and ESOP are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on steep slope commercial roofing.
• Driver's License: Required.
• CMV eligibility: Must be approved to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle.
• Certifications: OSHA10, First Aid, and CPR Training preferred.
• Languages: Fluency in English; Spanish a plus.
• Travel: Must travel 80% Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Review job file, shop drawings, and scope with manager; verify materials, delivery schedule, and labor budget.
• Attend planning meetings with GC and customers; coordinate with manager.
• Ensure safety equipment and procedures are in place on site; lead safety talks.
• Supervise crew daily on safety, quality, and productivity; train and coach workers.
• Prepare and submit daily reports, progress updates, and timesheets.
