Qualifications

• Must obtain Facility Operator 3rd Class certification within 12 months.
• Test negative on all drug screenings.
• Working knowledge of Steam Plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate steam boilers and steam plant to heat buildings and support facilities.
• Supervise steam plant personnel and offenders on shift.
• Maintain data logs and perform routine tests on boiler water and condensate systems.
• Assist in boiler maintenance, pump repairs, and engine servicing.
• Provide training to new employees on Steam Plant duties.
