The Lead Building Operating Engineer is responsible for overseeing the safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of critical building systems across the Colorado HQ Campus. This role serves as the technical lead for on-site engineering operations, providing day-to-day leadership, contractor coordination, and advanced troubleshooting for complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and control systems. The Lead Engineer is a JLL employee and works in close coordination with JLL Facilities Management leadership and designated client representatives to ensure building systems operate in alignment with established performance standards, safety requirements, and operational objectives.
The Lead Building Operating Engineer works in close partnership with the PNC Facility Manager to support the effective operation, planning, and continuous improvement of the Colorado HQ Campus. This collaboration reflects the service delivery and governance framework established between JLL and PNC. This role participates in regular, structured coordination meetings with the PNC Facility Manager to review building performance, work order status, critical systems health, operational priorities, upcoming projects, and identified risks or constraints. The Lead Engineer collaborates with the PNC Facility Manager on the development and execution of building operational strategies, capital and operational projects, annual operating and maintenance budgets, and recommendations for system upgrades, reliability improvements, and asset lifecycle planning.

Expected compensation for this position: 74,880.00 – 93,600.00 USD per year Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
