Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Justice, with a focus on the North Carolina Justice Academy, seeks a Criminal Justice Training Coordinator I to research, develop, and deliver training materials for law enforcement and detention officers. Qualifications

• Certified as a General Instructor by NCCJETSC.
• Experience developing lesson plans for criminal justice/law enforcement training.
• Experience as a Detention Officer and Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver detention officer and BLET training curricula.
• Develop, maintain, and update criminal justice training materials and curricula.
• Instruct in basic, advanced, and specialized training using IDPD/ISD models.
• Provide technical assistance on policies, procedures, and course content.
