Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC is seeking a Staff Surveyor to oversee field crews and project delivery in Mechanicsville, VA. The role collaborates with Project Managers and other teams to ensure accurate, timely survey deliverables and strong client communications.

The Staff Surveyor will coordinate scope and schedules, review plats and drawings, and mentor technicians on state surveying requirements and QA/QC procedures to uphold high standards across large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Must hold Professional Land Surveyor license.
• Experience leading field crews on large-scale survey projects.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with PMs and survey teams to meet project scope and schedule.
• Supervise technicians and field crews on large-scale surveys.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain project communication.
• Review and seal plats, drawings, and deliverables.
• Mentoring technicians on surveying standards and QA/QC.
