Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC is seeking a Staff Surveyor to oversee field crews and project delivery in Mechanicsville, VA. The role collaborates with Project Managers and other teams to ensure accurate, timely survey deliverables and strong client communications.

The Staff Surveyor will coordinate scope and schedules, review plats and drawings, and mentor technicians on state surveying requirements and QA/QC procedures to uphold high standards across large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Must hold Professional Land Surveyor license.
• Experience leading field crews on large-scale survey projects.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The Staff Surveyor is responsible for overseeing technicians and field crews to successfully complete large-scale land surveying projects on schedule. This role works closely with Project Managers, Project Surveyors, and other teams to coordinate project scope, schedules, and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to efficiently execute professional land survey tasks
• Demonstratedexperience in project/phase management for large-scale surveyprojects
• Strong technical skill set, including AutoCAD and MS Office
