Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Pensacola, FL is seeking a licensed pharmacist for our Long-Term Care pharmacy. You will supervise medication preparation, review orders for safety, and coordinate with nursing staff and physicians to resolve medication-related queries.

The role supports on-call duties, requires attention to detail, strong organization, and experience in long-term care or related medical settings. This is a full-time daytime shift with potential adjustments to meet business needs.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Florida pharmacist license.
Long Term Care experience preferred.
Experience in hospital/retail or medical fields helpful.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate between data entry, floor, and shipping to ensure routes go out on time.
Manage workflow with Pharmacy Technician Shift Lead.
Evaluate medication orders for drug safety and proper administration.
Ensure dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled.
Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and healthcare team.
Supervise preparation of medicines and on-call duties when required.
Complete additional tasks assigned by Pharmacist in Charge.
