Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years of industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection including NFPA standards, wet and dry sprinkler systems.
• Proven leadership skills overseeing field crews.
• Proficiency in reading and redlining fabrication drawings.
• Excellent communication and customer service attitude.
• Valid driver’s license; travel willingness.
• OSHA 30 training required or to be obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead the layout, assembly, and installation of fire sprinkler piping systems and fire pumps for commercial and industrial buildings
• Oversee on-site work crews, ensuring installations comply with NFPA standards, local codes, and customer requirements
• Conduct hydrostatic testing to verify system functionality and identify leaks
• Perform final inspections with AHJs (local, state, and county)
• Serve as a technical expert for the team, interpreting work specifications and fire codes; train junior team members
• Maintain positive client relationships and clear communication on project status, including potential change orders or service needs
