Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. seeks a Sprinkler Foreman to lead installations in Tampa, FL or Coral Springs, FL. You will oversee day-to-day activities, coordinate field crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

You will apply NFPA standards, supervise hydrostatic testing, and perform final inspections with AHJs while mentoring junior team members and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection, NFPA standards, local codes, and best practices.
• Proven leadership overseeing field crews.
• Ability to read and redline fabrication drawings.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• OSHA 30 training required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Sales aptitude is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the layout, assembly, and installation of fire sprinkler piping systems and fire pumps for commercial and industrial buildings.
• Oversee on-site work crews, ensuring installations comply with NFPA standards, local codes, and customer requirements.
• Conduct hydrostatic testing to verify system functionality and identify leaks.
• Perform final inspections with local, state, and county AHJs.
• Serve as a technical expert, interpreting work specifications and train junior team members to ensure consistent project execution.
• Maintain positive client relationships and clear communication on project status, including potential change orders.
