Job summary

National HealthCare Corporation’s HomeCare in Vero Beach seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to lead evaluation and therapy for patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral myofunctional disorders. The SLP will supervise the Communication Disorders Service Department and collaborate with physicians to customize treatment plans.

Requirements include a master’s degree in Speech Pathology, CCC-SP or CFY eligibility, and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an approved curriculum in Speech Pathology.
• CCC-SP from ASHA or CFY eligibility.
• Licensed in the state(s) where you will work.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the Communication Disorders Service Department.
• Provides evaluations and therapy as ordered by the physician and recommends a treatment program for approval.
• Evaluates, plans, and carries out therapy programs with periodic re-evaluations.
• Participates in the in-service training program for HomeCare personnel.
