Job summary

NHC HomeCare Merritt Island is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The SLP will supervise and actively participate in therapeutic techniques for patients with speech and language disorders. This role involves direct patient evaluations and therapy program management.

The ideal candidate must possess a master’s degree in Speech Pathology, the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SP), and be licensed to work in Florida. Competitive pay is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an approved curriculum in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SP) or eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Licensed in the state where you will work.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the Communication Disorders Service Department.
• Provide evaluations and therapy as ordered by physicians.
• Evaluate, plan, and carry out therapy programs with periodic re-evaluations.
• Participate in in-service training program for HomeCare personnel.
