Job summary

National HealthCare Corporation in Merritt Island is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our HomeCare team. The SLP will supervise and apply therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral myofunctional disorders, as ordered by the physician.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, CCC-SP or CFY eligibility, and licensure in the relevant state(s).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).
• CCC-SP from ASHA or CFY eligibility.
• Licensed in the state(s) where you will work.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the Communication Disorders Service Department.
• Provides evaluations and therapy as ordered by the referring physician and recommends a treatment program.
• Evaluates, plans, and carries out therapy programs with periodic re-evaluations.
• Participates in the in-service training program for HomeCare personnel.
