Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Communications Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of related experience with advanced degree or equivalent.
• Experience in spectrum engineering, RF systems engineering, radar engineering, electromagnetic compatibility, wireless systems.
• Demonstrated experience leading spectrum compatibility, interference, or band-study analyses.
• Active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government clearance; U.S. citizen per requirements.
• Minimum on-site work requirement: 4 days a week on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex spectrum band studies and electromagnetic compatibility analyses (2.7–2.9 GHz).
• Develop and review RF propagation, link-budget, interference, and coexistence analyses using MATLAB and Python.
• Support acquisition and modernization of spectrum-dependent systems throughout their lifecycle.
• Evaluate weather and radar systems to understand interference and spectrum constraints on performance.
• Provide technical direction to multidisciplinary teams and translate results into actionable recommendations.
• Engage with sponsors and interagency stakeholders to communicate analyses and implications.
• Mentor engineers and shape future spectrum, RF, and systems engineering capabilities.
