Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks a qualified Radiology Technologist to lead the daily activities of the assigned modality, ensuring smooth operations and high patient care. You will act as a resource for radiologists, staff, and referring physicians, coordinating care across departments and patient populations.

The role requires 2 years of specialty experience and BLS certification, with preference for supervisory experience.

Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in the specialty area.
  • Certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

  • Leads daily activities of the assigned modality (MRI, CT, US, or IR) and acts as a resource for radiology staff.
  • Serves as liaison between the radiology department and referring physician offices.
  • Works with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

RADIOLOGY:

Leads the daily activities of assigned Modality (MRI, CT, US, or IR). Acts as a resource concerning specialty area for the radiologists, radiology staff and other departments. Acts as a liaison between their department and referring physician's offices. Works with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

CANCER CENTER - RADIATION ONCOLOGY:

Leads the daily activity of the CT scanner(s). Acts as a resource concerning the CT process for the Physicians, Radiation Therapists and other department staff.

  1. Registered Radiological Technological (RT or RTT)
  2. Two (2) years of experience in Specialty Area.
  3. Must hold Certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
PREFERRED:
  1. Two years of supervisory experience.
