Job summary

Northside Hospital seeks a lead Radiology Technologist to oversee daily modality operations (MRI, CT, US, or IR) and to serve as a resource for radiologists, staff, and related departments.

The role requires a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT/RTT), at least 2 years in radiology, and American Heart Association BLS certification. The candidate will act as a liaison with referring physicians and support pediatric to geriatric patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT/RTT) in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the radiology specialty.
• Certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily activities of the assigned radiology modality (MRI, CT, US, or IR).
• Serve as a resource for radiologists, radiology staff and other departments.

RADIOLOGY

Leads the daily activities of assigned Modality (MRI, CT, US, or IR). Acts as a resource concerning specialty area for the radiologists, radiology staff and other departments. Acts as a liaison between their department and referring physician's offices. Works with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

REQUIRED

1. Registered Radiological Technological (RT or RTT)
2. Two (2) years of experience in speciality area.
3. Must hold Certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
