Job summary
Energy Transfer in Dallas, TX is seeking a Lead Sourcing Specialist – Retail Fuel Distribution to develop and execute sourcing strategies, drive cost savings, and manage supplier contracts. The role requires leading sourcing events, analyzing markets, and partnering with stakeholders across the business.
You will collaborate with procurement teams, ensure contract compliance, and guide complex negotiations, with an emphasis on delivering value in the fuel distribution space.
Qualifications

- Proven record of driving cost savings in a complex organization.
- Ability to structure and lead complex projects.
- Strategic and analytical thinking to assess problems, identify and consider potential solutions, and make timely recommendations.
- 8+ years of work experience.
- Data analytics, sourcing, procurement systems, and customer service.
- Confident leading and influencing decisions at an executive level.
- Experience with vendor management and contract compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead analysis, development and implementation of cost savings initiatives
- Generate strategic inputs and supply market information to influence business decisions and act as a conduit for procurement activities
- Lead complex negotiations, contract development, contract implementation, and supplier contract compliance
- Work with appropriate stakeholder teams to identify areas of opportunity
- Quantify savings related to opportunity and work with business team to ensure savings are realized through vendor management and budget process
- Conduct ongoing business reviews to ensure suppliers are performing to contracted obligations and service levels
- Lead the suppliers and stakeholders of the supply chain through effective engagement and communication by delivering supplier awareness programs.
- Solicit advice from manager regarding procurement processes and protocol and apply appropriate solutions to issues for stakeholders.

Description
The Lead Sourcing Specialist – Retail Fuel Distribution is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to reduce costs and deliver stakeholder value. Experience with image & branding, marketing & sales support, distribution, construction, maintenance, PMO, MRO, OEM equipment, spare parts, or other Retail related fields is a plus. The successful candidate should have experience leading sourcing events and category analysis. Experience in the fuel/midstream/energy space is also desired. The scope of the position will include leading the preparation and execution of sourcing processes, contract & supplier management, stakeholder engagement and value creation.

- Data analytics, sourcing, procurement systems, and customer service.
- Confident leading and influencing decisions at an executive level
- Business software applications: Microsoft Office, Agiloft or other contract management software, and SAP or other purchasing software.

- Full time in office in Dallas, under normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required (approximately 10%) including International travel.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protectiveequipment.
