Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a STE Manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for research, design, and validation of specialized test equipment for development and production programs. You will drive test strategies, DT/DT features, and continuous improvement across multiple projects in a fast-paced defense environment.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, cost estimation for BOEs, and ensuring readiness for DoD security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of related experience, or a Master's with 6 years.
• Experience leading STE/ATE/ICT/DVT test activities.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams for development and production testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8–12 engineers responsible for research, design, integration, and validation of test equipment and test processes for development and production programs.
• Oversee budgets, staffing, workload planning, and software tool planning for the team.
• Drive design-for-testability, test strategy, and continuous improvement across projects.
• Present deliverables at program reviews and technical meetings.
