Job summary

Lifesteps, Inc. is seeking a Program Specialist Supervisor/Special Education Supervisor in Butler, PA. The role overseesStaff development, quality assurance, and plan development for individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism.

The position emphasizes regulatory compliance, coordination with families and counties, and on-call duties in a full-time schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above with 1 year of direct experience or Bachelor's with 2 years of direct experience or 60 credit hours with 4 years of direct experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to articulate information to diverse audiences.
• Must secure and maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention training within three months of hire.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and able to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Community Homes staff and ensure development of ISP, Restrictive Procedure Plans, Social Emotional Environmental Plans, Fade Plans and Desensitization Plans.
• Oversee financial management of individual accounts and advocate for adults with disabilities in meetings with families, counties, and Supports Coordinators.
