Qualifications

• National certification required for SPD leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee decontamination and sterilization of instruments.
• Maintain records of sterilizers and monitoring results.
• Coordinate decontamination workflow to ensure instrument availability.
• Supervise SPD staff in conjunction with management.
• Operate autoclaves, Steris and washers as applicable.
• Participate in quality improvement and staff education.
