Pillar Space is seeking a Lead Test & Integration Engineer to own the entire AIT flow for flight-ready spacecraft, from bench units to launch vehicle integration. The role combines hands-on testing with strategic leadership, building the I&T team, standards, and facilities needed for flight-grade hardware.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline is required.
• 8+ years integrating, testing, or launching spacecraft or high-reliability systems.
• Experience leading technical workstreams, mentoring engineers, or building teams.
• Hands-on experience taking hardware from integration through flight and test.

Aufgaben

• Own integration and test strategy from planning through flight readiness.
• Define test philosophy and levels mapping to requirements.
• Lead vehicle assembly and integration including harnessing and power-on.
• Plan and execute environmental test campaigns (vibration, vacuum, EMI, etc.).
• Oversee vehicle-level functional testing and mission simulations.
• Build and maintain flatsats and test benches, support hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Manage ground support equipment and test data infrastructure.
