EVONA is seeking a Lead Spacecraft Systems Engineer to own end-to-end spacecraft programs from design through launch and on-orbit operations. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to define system architecture and ensure mission success in rapid development cycles.

This hands-on leadership role requires delivering small satellites to orbit, guiding integration, testing, and risk management, and shaping a high-performing engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in aerospace or satellite systems.
• Proven experience delivering small satellites to orbit.
• Strong background in spacecraft systems engineering and integration.
• Experience with environmental testing and launch operations.
• Leadership experience in fast-paced engineering environments.
• US citizenship, eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end spacecraft delivery and on-orbit performance.
• Lead system architecture, integration, and technical budgets.
• Manage design, build, test, and launch activities.
• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team.
• Drive rapid prototyping and iterative development approaches.
• Conduct system trade studies and manage risk.
