Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Structures Design Engineer to manage the design and development of spacecraft structures and secondary supports. You will generate drawings, support structure builds, and contribute to special projects involving structural products.

You will create specifications, guide integrations of subcontracted hardware, and develop drawings and models using Creo and MATLAB/Simulink, while driving nonconformance resolution and process improvements across

Qualifications

U.S. citizen or permanent resident as required for the role.
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace) or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Piece part and subassembly modeling in CREO or other CAD software and generation of assembly drawings.

Responsibilities

Create product specifications, negotiate design details, interfaces, test plans/procedures, and mfg/test processes based on program requirements.
Assist in oversight for the integration of subcontracted hardware into spacecraft systems architecture.
Generate engineering drawing and models with Creo and other design tools.
Help disposition nonconformances and drive for process improvements
