Job summary

Space Systems Integration LLC is seeking a Space Test Engineer in Albuquerque, NM to support first‑of‑its‑kind space vehicles and missions with SETA to customers. You will work in a small, high-performing team handling design, integration, and test of space hardware and software, communicating complex results to management and leadership.

The role requires DoD/IC background, ABET‑accredited engineering degree or PE, and TS/SCI eligibility with polygraph; travel up to 30% and on-site work near

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (7) years DoD/IC, or relevant industry work experience.
• An ABET-accredited engineering degree or a Professional Engineer license.
• MA/MS/ME degree.
• Proven experience in testing satellite systems.
• Understanding of operational environment and mission user needs.
• Experience with DoD program management including program development and transition.
• Experience with Integrated Master Schedules and risk management.
• Experience with Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Work Statements (PWS).
• Active TS clearance with in-scope T5/SSBI is required, along with SCI eligibility and polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Supports design, interpretation, and analysis of technical solutions to complex discipline-specific testing.
• Plans and performs test research, development, and other assignments per designs and specs.
• Evaluates system architecture and component testing to align capabilities across programs.
• Provides technical expertise for performance analysis, test plan design, and test scenarios.
• Responsible for technical/engineering planning and execution of major and minor testing.
• Leads authoring and execution of test and evaluation master plan and system acceptance planning.
• Coordinates with partners to ensure test communities support milestones.
• Translate complex ideas into actionable recommendations.
