Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a highly motivated Lead Systems Engineer to join our Space RF SEIT Team. You will lead systems engineering tasks for multiple projects, drive formal SE capabilities, and coordinate with stakeholders and other engineering disciplines to capture and manage requirements.

Responsibilities include documenting customer needs, supporting verification and validation, creating technical documentation with Word, Excel, and CAMEO, and shepherding SE lifecycle changes for specific

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 8+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Familiarity with INCOSE SE Handbook and ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2023.

Responsibilities

• Lead the effort to capture and manage product requirements, and lead or support standard SE activities in support of two new commercial product lines under development.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager, Chief Engineer, RF team, and RF engineers to understand, develop, and document customer needs and system requirements; derive subsystem requirements.
• Support system verification and validation efforts.
• Create and maintain technical documentation using Word, Excel, and CAMEO.
• Participate in company and customer reviews.
• Support other engineering disciplines in problem solving and impact analysis.
• Provide full SE lifecycle support for changes to product baselines for specific customers.
