Job summary

Aerospace is seeking a senior engineer to provide system integration expertise for space-ground programs. You will participate in risk assessments, support government oversight, and represent the company in design reviews and technical forums.

Responsibilities include preparing status briefings, coordinating with government teams and contractors, and developing mission integration plans for multi-segment missile warning delivery. Domestic travel ~10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field required.
• 12+ years of related professional engineering/scientific experience with at least 8 years in space system integration.
• Applied disciplined system integration methods, processes, and tools to resolve technical disconnects across ground and space segments.
• Ground development technical support for integrating, testing, and transitioning space assets to ground systems.
• Defined critical system integration decision points and milestones to ensure transitions from development to operations.
• Willing to travel domestically ~10% as required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide system integration expertise for SN OPIR Programs.
• Participate in program status assessments and independent risk assessments informing government and Aerospace management of technical problems and recommended actions.
• Contribute to government oversight of contractor system integration strategies and testing planning for ground, space, and combined capabilities.
• Represent Aerospace in program meetings and technical forums such as design reviews and technical interchanges.
• Prepare briefings and reports to provide status and recommendations on technical assessments.
• Interact regularly with government teams, development contractors, and other collaborators across Missile Warning/Tracking/Defense Enterprise.
• Develop with the government a mission integration plan and roadmap for multi-segment missile warning delivery.
