Job summary

Intuitive Machines is seeking a Communications Test Lead to drive test strategy for space and ground communications systems. You will provide technical leadership, own processes, and hands-on testing to ensure performance and reliability.

Responsibilities include leading V&V activities, mentoring test engineers, and collaborating across missions while participating in software sprints and agile development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in space and/or ground communications systems test.
• Proven track record of testing flight and/or ground space communication systems.
• Strong knowledge of V&V methodologies and test automation.
• Proficiency with test tools, defect tracking, and version control.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated test infrastructure.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead the communications test strategy across space flight communications subsystems and ground systems.
• Complete performance reviews, provide feedback, and help define career goals for team members.
• Establish and enforce engineering and production test processes across missions.
• Manage requirements traceability, verification and validation activities.
• Mentor and lead test engineers to develop, maintain, and execute test plans and frameworks.
• Foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing and continuous-improvement culture.
