Job summary

Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead a high-performing back-of-house operation and deliver chef-driven dining for residents. You will mentor team members, collaborate with leadership, and maintain a positive, fast-paced kitchen environment with strong culinary skills and computer proficiency.

Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, with the potential for an annual bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years full-service experience
• Minimum of 6 months supervisory and coaching experience
• Ability to work some weekends and holidays
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Work in extreme temperatures (hot kitchen to cold storage)

Responsibilities

• Supervises scheduling, training, and discipline of culinary and utility staff.
• Oversees daily kitchen production and food preparation for resident meals.
• Directs preparation and service of all menu items with recipes, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintains organization and sanitation of dining rooms, kitchen, storage areas, and loading dock.
