Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time sous chef at the SMC Mary Black Campus in Spartanburg, SC. The role involves assisting the Executive Chef, coordinating kitchen staff, and ensuring quality and timely meals for patients and staff.

Shifts run 5:00 am to 6:00 pm, with some weekends and holidays. Pay is $21.00–$24.00 per hour. Experience with high-volume cooking is required to support compassionate patient-centered dining.

Qualifications

• Prior volume cooking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates; interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, and reviews.
• Stores food in designated areas following all sanitation procedures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils; keeps workstation clean.
