Job summary

Wolfgang Puck Catering in Los Angeles is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef and oversee kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or sous chef experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and performance reviews.
• Stores food in designated areas following sanitation procedures and maintains proper serving temperatures.
• Monitors inventory and deliveries; tracks production, consumption and waste; notifies supervisor when supplies are low.
