Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is seeking a Sous Chef to oversee dining for our senior residents, ensuring smooth, safe kitchen operations, high-quality meals, and meaningful dining moments.

You will lead a culinary team, step in for the Executive Chef when needed, and train staff using RLC programs. The role emphasizes maintaining clean stations, inventory control, and collaborative menu development across our community.

Qualifications

• Must have culinary leadership experience or supervisory roles.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and scheduling.
• Strong standards for safety, quality, and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality and presentation of every dish.
• Lead the culinary team in the Executive Chef’s absence.
• Train and develop team members using RLC programs.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and stocked workstations and Chef’s Pantry.
• Monitor temperatures and follow closing checklists.
• Participate in meetings to share ideas and respond to feedback.
