Job summary

Salvation Army in Clarksville, TN seeks a part-time Warehouse Lead to supervise staff, schedule work, and ensure timely processing of donated items. You will ensure compliance with policies and help maintain thrift store stock levels.

Schedule/Hours: 30 Hours per weekThis position is responsible for:Lead and participates in the work performed by employees, beneficiaries and/or community service workers in the warehouse; ensures that all donated items are processed through the warehouse in a timely manner and in accordance with established standards; ensures the thrift store remains adequately stocked.Key Responsibilities:Serves as lead worker to warehouse staff (employees, beneficiaries, and community service workers); schedules and monitors their work.Ensures the work in performed in compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures.Monitors the supply of items available in the thrift store in order to determine the areas needing additional stock from the warehouse.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to meet attendance requirements.Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.Ability to operate a cash register.Ability to perform routine mathematical computations and count change.Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull heavy (50-100lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment frequently.
