Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking a coordinator to manage lighting quotations and vendor relationships for projects across Oregon and surrounding regions. You will work closely with sales and construction teams to deliver accurate quotes and seamless hand-offs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate lighting quotations for respective jobs.
• Establish and maintain relations with lighting vendors.
• Strategize with vendors, customers and sales to win profitable jobs.
• Produce quotes, bills of material, and project hand-off documents.
• Support Construction Group sales team.
• Ensure professional, error-free quotations and timely follow-ups.
• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure stock compatibility with project needs.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate lighting quotations for your respective jobs.
• Establish and maintain good working relations with key lighting vendors
• Strategize with vendors, customers and sales to win profitable jobs
• Produce quotes, bills of material, and create workable project hand-off documents
• Support Construction Group sales team
• Set industry standards for professionalism in accurate error-free quotations, timely follow-up, on-time submittals
• Work with purchasing to ensure stock compatibility with agency project strength and support

What You Will Bring:

• Industry experience 4 + years
• Previous lighting quotation experience preferred
• Previous experience with Job Management software preferred
• Commitment to constant improvement and teamwork
• Customer service focused
• Accurate, detail oriented, and proactive
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities and self-motivated
• Able to work well as part of a team

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Office environment; mainly seated at a desk
• Frequent computer and phone use
• Usual 40 hour work-week Monday through Friday, however, based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
• Requires regular and reliable on-site attendance

Additional Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
