Job summary

Fives Intralogistics Corp. in the United States (Kentucky remote) seeks a Manager, Solutions Engineering to own capacity and what the team can offer.

This role governs the function’s headcount, budget, and promotion decisions, and sets the solution methodology and technology roadmap in collaboration with senior engineers. Responsibilities include capacity planning, budgeting, staffing, and driving the pursuit strategy with a focus on continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Engineering is required; advanced degree is an advantage.
• 12+ years in solution design, industrial engineering or systems integration, including budget and headcount ownership.
• Must have owned operation-level concepts before managing people who do.
• Must have built or maintained a technology or partner evaluation practice.

Responsibilities

• Own the capacity plan for the function: pipeline requirements, staffing, and gaps.
• Own the function budget and its share of pursuit costs; report against plan.
• Own hiring for the function: open reqs, set bands, and select candidates.
• Make the promotion decision at the level gate during the method review.
• Own the solution methodology and technology roadmap; determine technology classes and third‑party partners, with technical authority as described.
