Job summary

Freshworks, a leading AI-first employee and customer experience software provider, is seeking a Lead Solution Engineer for our North America GTM team. You’ll partner with Account Executives to tailor demonstrations and solutions for SLED, Higher Education, and Manufacturing.

Translate customer needs into compelling Freshworks offerings, guide technical and business discovery, and design industry-specific demos aligned to priorities.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or similar pre-sales experience.
• Experience selling SaaS solutions into SLED, Higher Education, or Manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of how customer requirements and priorities differ across industries.
• Experience with ITSM/ITAM/ITOM/ESM is preferred.
• Excellent presentation and storytelling, with ability to convey business value.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to solve complex challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dedicated Solution Engineering partner to SLED, Higher Education, and Manufacturing sales teams.
• Collaborate with customers to identify and address business and technical challenges.
• Guide technical and business discovery with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle.
• Translate customer requirements into defined solutions and demonstrations.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations aligned to industry workflows and use cases.
