Job summary

Webflow is seeking a Lead Solutions Engineer to inspire customers by illustrating what’s possible with the platform and to tell a differentiated story that aligns Webflow with business goals.

The role partners with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to architect and demonstrate high-value solutions, and may involve travel up to 25% in a remote-first environment with an onboarding session in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer.
• Advanced understanding of APIs and web programming languages — HTML, CSS & JavaScript.
• Take a consultative approach and are passionate about helping customers solve problems.
• Consistently demonstrate strong storytelling within discovery or product demos.

We’re looking for a Lead Solutions Engineer to inspire our customers by helping them understand the art of what’s possible with the Webflow platform. You will tell our differentiated story that shows how our solution helps them meet their business objectives.

The Solutions Engineering team plays a vital role by partnering closely with our customers as well as with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to ensure mutual, long-term success. We aim to deeply understand our customers’ strategic objectives and technical requirements. We architect and demonstrate innovative solutions that unlock meaningful business value for our customers. Additionally, we champion the voice of our customers by understanding market trends and influencing product direction.

About the role:

• Location: Remote-first (United States; ON, Canada)

  • Must reside in Central or Eastern Time Zones

  • This role will require an in-person onboarding session in San Francisco, CA

• Our cash compensation amount for this role ranges depending on the cost of labor of the geographic area. The ranges shared below may change if you are hired in another geographic location.

  • United States (all figures cited below in USD and pertain to workers in the United States)

    • Zone A: $208,500 - $245,000

    • Zone B: $194,000 - $228,000

    • Zone C: $182,000 - $214,000

  • Canada (All figures cited below in CAD and pertain to workers in ON, Canada)

    • 200,000 - 235,000

For sales roles, the ranges provided are the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) ranges, meaning that the ranges include both the sales commissions target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Webflow and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’smarket location, job related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills. • Present effective stories through demonstrations that highlight the benefits of using Webflow to solve key customer objectives and challenges

• Lead hands-on workshops and trials where appropriate

• Influence product direction for short & long-term success in Enterprise by representing the customer voice

• Lead strategic cross-functional initiatives that are key to advancing Webflow’s mission of bringing development superpowers to everyone
