Constellation seeks a Lead Solutions Architect to own end-to-end technical delivery across automation and full-stack development. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, technical delivery, or solution architecture with proven experience in front-end development using React and backend ecosystems such as Java/Spring or similar enterprise-grade languages.
• Experience developing and implementing process automation using scripting languages like Python.
• Proven experience leading system architecture and delivering scalable, cloud-based (AWS/Azure) solutions, as well as leading teams delivering web applications and/or automations.
• Experience overseeing cross-functional engineering teams (backend, frontend, data), including providing mentorship and guidance to team members on code reviews and design approach.
• Strong client-facing skills, including presenting technical solutions and driving decision-making
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, React component design and common component libraries, and secure web development practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Be a U.S. citizen able to pass a background investigation by the client agency. DHS clearance with CBP/ICE, or DoD Top-Secret preferred.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Provide architectural oversight and technical direction across teams developing full-stack applications (React, Spring Boot) and Python-based automations.
• Solution Architecture: Translate complex client requirements into clear, actionable technical designs and define system architecture.
• Client Engagement: Serve as the primary technical interface with stakeholders and guide decision-making.
• Delivery Oversight: Oversee execution across technical workstreams, manage risks and escalations.
