Job summary

Applied Systems seeks a Lead Technical Consultant to guide architecture, integrations, and cloud delivery standards for large-scale digital transformations. You will lead cross-functional programs, mentor staff, and align CIO/CTO roadmaps with executive leadership to deliver strategic outcomes.

Required 5+ years in solutions implementation, cloud design, and client management, with deep knowledge of AWS/GCP/Azure, Java, JavaScript, and REST/SOAP APIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business/technical solutions implementation, incl. cloud architecture design.
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS/CS/IT or equivalent (8+ years, or 6+ with associate).
• Proven cross-functional leadership and 3+ years of client/project management.
• Hands-on with scalable, resilient architecture, DevOps, cloud platforms and APIs; Java/JavaScript; SQL across AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Ability to lead executive workshops and explain technical topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Advise CIOs/CTOs and align technical roadmap with enterprise transformations.
• Lead executive-level engagements and resolve systemic, multi-system escalations.
• Establish and evolve architecture, integration and cloud delivery standards.
• Lead cross-functional programs and turn field lessons into repeatable blueprints.
• Partner with Sales on pursuit strategies and value-engineering for major deals.
• Shape technical strategy with hyperscalers and mentor senior consultants.
