Job summary

CVS Health is recruiting a Lead Solution Architect to design, build, and maintain scalable application architecture across multiple CVS locations, including remote options. You will mentor architects, collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and IT teams, and drive strategic technology decisions.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in software engineering and architecture, deep cloud and API experience, and a track record leading cross-functional teams in healthcare tech environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering and architecture roles (technical lead, solution architect, enterprise architect).
• 5+ years of full stack development experience and 5+ years of database experience (SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), microservices, and API design.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute architectural strategies aligned with project objectives.
• Lead and supervise architectural initiatives within assigned projects or areas.
• Develop architectural designs and solutions, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior and senior architects in project-related tasks and skill development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective architectural solutions.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand needs and drive alignment with business and development teams.
• Assess new technologies to enhance application processes and recommend adoption.
• Lead architecture design reviews and drive modernization opportunities for Healthcare Business Unit.
