The Opportunity:
This position will involve work at multiple solar PV power plantsmaintaining, testing, and troubleshootingACand DC circuits ranging from medium voltage (345kV and below) to 12VDC. The equipment that will need to bemaintainedincludesstation service electrical equipment such as motors, and motor controls, electrical switchgear, transformers, inverters, solar PV panels, panel tracking mechanisms, electrical protective devices, main and auxiliary generators, lighting, power supplies, HVAC systems,securityand battery support systems.This position will be responsible for troubleshooting and overhauling such equipment as well as preventative and predictive maintenance activities for theafore-mentionedequipment.The position will serve as a Lead Technician who will directly superviseday-to-dayactivity of theSolarTechnicians (up to10personnel). This will involvedailyscheduling of activities, support activities for the Supervisor/Manager, review/create work procedures, and support daily activities of Technicians byprovidingtechnical advice when needed. Attend meetings at the request of the local Supervisor/Manager and fill in whenrequired.
Lead Techsreview manuals and schematic diagrams todeterminethe tasks, tools,equipmentand parts neededandwill coordinate Plan of Days, help troubleshoot complicated issues, and oversee theday-to-dayoperations of the technicians.
What You'll Do at Enel North America:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Adherence to the company’s values and behaviors as defined by the EGPNA policies and handbooks
  • Provide leadership to a team of up to 10 Field Service Technicianswith a focus onreliability-basedphilosophiesto include executing prioritized work schedules, mentoring, coaching, and evaluating performance
  • Responsible to execute daily scheduling philosophy utilizing a prioritized list of work provided by Planning with a focus on maximizing generation and also ensuring proactive work is prioritized and completed.
  • Installs, tests,maintainsand troubleshoots minor components andassistwith some major components
  • Performcurrent and voltage calculations as necessary
  • Completereports and records associated with maintenance and repairs
  • Complete Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO), JSA’s,Permitto Workand job specific documentation that isrequiredto conduct maintenance and repairs in a safe manner
  • Proactively look for improvement opportunities to jobappropriate processesand procedures
  • Perform data collection and prepare reportsin order tomeet reporting requirements
  • Perform balance of plant and switchyard work asrequired
Who You Are:
  • Ability to use electrical test equipment such as, DMM, meggers and multi process calibration equipment
    • IR Certificate Level 1
    • Ultrasound qualifications a plus
  • A clean driving record means in the last 3 years, no driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than 2 moving violations and no reckless driving incidents.
  • In the last5years,nomajor driving offenses including DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal accident.
What You've Accomplished:
  • 5+ year’s relevant experience inthe renewableenergysectoror
  • 3+ years related experience andAssociates Degree/Tech School Certificationor
  • B.S. Degree (electrical or technical)and6 months or more of applicable experience
  • Supervisory experience of field staff as a lead orforeman
