Job summary

Legacy Power is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead solar construction on active sites, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and keep projects safe, on schedule, and to high standards. You’ll read drawings, enforce NEC and OSHA rules, review documents, and collaborate with Project Managers and clients to solve field challenges and deliver quality work.

This role requires 3+ years of supervision, strong communication, and a hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction supervision experience.
• Experience in solar, electrical, or similar commercial construction.
• Ability to read construction and electrical drawings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of NEC.
• OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 is a plus).
• A valid driver’s license.
• A collaborative leadership style with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Electrical licensing and civil/mechanical construction experience are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews and subcontractors on assigned solar construction projects.
• Coordinate daily construction activities, equipment, and deliveries.
• Maintain project schedules and adapt to field conditions.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA standards.
• Perform QA/QC inspections and document progress.
• Review drawings, permits, and project documentation.
• Coordinate inspections with utilities and AHJs.
• Communicate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, clients, and trade partners.
• Solve field challenges to prevent delays.
