Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc is seeking a Solar Foreman to direct and supervise the planning, lay-out, installation, testing and repair of solar photovoltaic construction, including electrical and civil components. You will coordinate craft workers, motivate the team to work safely, correctly and efficiently, and ensure compliance with plans, specs and standards.

You will lead safety programs, conduct toolbox talks, monitor schedules and manage daily activities, timecards and crew performance.

Qualifications

• Must have working experience as a Solar Technician with a strong working knowledge of solar PV construction craft and the assembly, installation, or maintenance of solar PV systems.
• Ability to lead, motivate and supervise craft workers to safety, quality and productivity standards.
• Certification in NCCER Solar PV Installer or related NCCER credentials is preferred.
