Job summary

ACT Power Services is seeking a Solar Master Technician to perform safe, productive repairs and maintenance of Commercial and Utility Scale Solar PV plants. You will conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to maximize production while contributing to a safe and reliable energy future.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, learning NEC standards, and providing training as needed.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with electrical systems and components.
• Proficiency in using power tools for repair tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Ability to travel and work on-call during off-shift hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Uphold a high level of safety standards in everything that you do.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, service, troubleshooting and repair of solar photovoltaic facilities.
• Learn the NEC code, electrical theory, and industry best practices.
• Perform DC and AC testing and tracing as described.
• Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and connections.
• Maintain maintenance schedules and service reports for solar facilities.
