Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Architect of QA Automation to lead the design and evolution of scalable automated testing frameworks using Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript). You will guide the QA automation team within an Agile/SAFe environment, driving defect management and high-quality software delivery across government system subsystems.

The role requires extensive experience with Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, and a strong SDLC background, plus a Secret clearance with potential upgrade to TS/SCI.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 14+ years of experience; OR bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience; OR master's degree and 10+ years of experience.
• Proven hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and scaling automated test frameworks using Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript
• 5+ years supporting large government programs in software testing, development, or management roles with a strong understanding of SDLC
• Minimum of Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI
• Experience in Agile/SAFe environments

Responsibilities
