Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Arizona) seeks an experienced QA/Test Engineer to lead test strategy across Agile sprints. You will design and maintain automated and manual test cases, collaborate with engineers and product managers to define acceptance criteria, and drive quality into every release.

The role covers functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing, with a focus on performance, reliability, security, and usability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 2–6 years of relevant experience.
  • 6+ years of software testing or quality engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting Agile software development programs.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing manual and automated test plans.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Job description

Requirements


  • US citizenship is required per contract.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.

  • 6+ years of software testing or quality engineering experience.

  • Experience supporting Agile software development programs.

  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing manual and automated test plans.

  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.

  • Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

  • Experience with defect management tools such as Jira.

  • Ability to communicate results and issues to technical and non-technical customer stakeholders.
