Job summary

KBR is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to support the STARE program on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. You will guide MBSE and M&S efforts, review contractor software, and ensure compliance with MOSA and OTA requirements.

You will lead the government’s digital engineering transformation, coordinate VV&A activities, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software and documentation for fielding.

Qualifications

• Experience with MBSE tools and workflows.
• Proven track record in DoD VV&A processes.
• Technical oversight of contractor SW development in DoD programs.
• Knowledge of MOSA and OTA concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead MBSE model development and govern digital engineering artifacts.
• Coordinate VV&A activities between government and contractor teams.
• Oversee integration of government MBSE with contractor M&S models and tools.
• Chair the change control and defect triage processes for SW baselines.
• Collaborate with Army stakeholders on SW documentation, releases, and data rights.
