Job summary

deciBel Research, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Integrator in Huntsville, AL to lead integration, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex software systems for the GWS Program.

You will work with software developers, systems engineers, and other technical teams to ensure interfaces meet requirements. The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of related experience (or 3 years with a Master's, or 1 year with a PhD), plus hands-on experience with Windows/Linux

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of related experience; or 3 years with a Master's; or 1 year with a PhD.
• Experience integrating separate software components into a single system.
• Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
• Develop expertise in GSS Launch Management Systems OPS and UI.
• Experience writing installation manuals.
• Scripting in Bash, C Shell, Python; Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory).
• CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex software systems.
• Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers and other teams to meet requirements.
• Provide documentation and guidance for installation and deployment processes.
