Raytheon seeks a senior software engineering leader to supervise a 15–20 person section within Test Solutions. You will design and implement object‑oriented software in C#/C++ using Visual Studio on Windows, while aligning with program contracts and Raytheon values.

You will mentor engineers and drive field/test production solutions, coordinating with multi‑discipline teams and leadership to ensure test readiness and robustness. This is an on‑site role in Tucson, AZ.

Qualifikationen

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Eight (8) or more years of professional software engineering design experience using C/C++/C# or other closely related software languages, working with Windows Based computing environments.
• Experience with factory/laboratory test instrumentation, electronics, and software (e.g., oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and lead a team of approximately 15-20 section members.
• Lead the Section Lead role as ~15% of the work week, coordinating with contracts in TS.
• Conduct formal and informal performance reviews and career development discussions.
• Mentor junior and mid‑career software engineers.
• Design, develop, and integrate object‑oriented software using C#, C++ in Visual Studio on Windows.
• Drive solutions usable in field test or automation production environments with thermal and vibration testing capabilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations Managers, Directorate leads and Program Leaders to ensure SW test solution readiness and robustness.
