Job summary

RTX is seeking a Section Lead for Test Solutions within Hardware Engineering. You will supervise a 15–20 member team, guide performance reviews, and drive software solutions using C#, C++ in Windows. The role blends hands‑on design with program contract alignment and mentorship across staff.

Qualifications include a STEM degree, 8+ years in software design, and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. Expect on‑site collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment with nice growth

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 8+ years of software design using C/C++/C# on Windows environments.
• Experience with factory/lab test instrumentation and test software.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 15–20 section members with performance reviews and development discussions.
• Design, develop, and integrate object‑oriented software using C#, C++ in VS on Windows.
• Coordinate with program contracts and department leads to ensure readiness and robustness.
• Mentor junior and mid‑career software engineers and drive multi‑discipline collaboration.
• Support hiring goals and onboarding of new section personnel.
