Job summary

Amazon in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and develop the sensor data platform powering the autonomous delivery fleet, processing petabyte-scale data from LiDAR, cameras, GPS, and control signals.

You will build data infrastructure, ingest and catalogue sensor streams, and enable ML training at scale while collaborating with ML, operations analytics, and diagnostics teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Develop the data infrastructure that enables sensor data processing for the autonomous delivery ecosystem.
• Architect and develop the sensor data platform, ingestion pipelines, and governance across multi-tenant environments.
• Collaborate with autonomy teams across ML training, operations analytics, post-mission diagnostics, and visualization.
• Mentor and lead engineering efforts to ensure scalable and reliable systems.
