Job summary

Amazon in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build distributed systems across the vehicle-to-cloud data path. You will work on sensor-data processing, ML infrastructure, fleet health, route and ODD services, and software-release controls.

You will own services end-to-end, from design to deployment and operations, collaborating with autonomy, hardware, safety, and product teams to enable safe, scalable autonomous delivery testing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years in design/architecture of large systems.
• 1+ years building distributed software/applications.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate distributed services for high-volume vehicle data.
• Build self-service infra for model training, dataset/versioning, replay and eval.
• Develop fleet operations services for health, diagnostics, readiness and deployment.
• Create route/ODD-aware services linking testing with last-mile systems.
• Ensure secure, observable interfaces between vehicles, edge, cloud, and tools.
• Collaborate with autonomy, hardware, safety, ops, and product teams.
• Own full software lifecycle from design to production support.
• Contribute to design reviews and evolve greenfield systems.
